Join us for the second Outstanding Lecture in the Humanities featuring Dr. Brandon Erby, assistant professor, WRD. Erby will be discussing research from his award-winning article, “Imagining Freedom: Cultural Rhetorics, Digital Literacies and Podcasting in Prison.” This research examines how incarcerated individuals rely on tenets of writing and rhetoric to dispute narratives about people who are imprisoned and use such digital platforms as podcasting to compose stories, engage in social commentary and imagine a better present and future for themselves and the world.
